I have read this story several times and each time I felt that Ducky was very much wrong in telling Ziva how to fix things with Tony. Ducky is overlooking one major fact. Ziva's intention was in fact to hurt Tony and make him feel like he wasn't wanted on the team and that she had in fact replaced him. The actions of how everyone had acted, Tim, Abby and Gibbs rubbing it in Tony's face would in fact also convey that message. From the very begining when Ziva joined the team she was always doing one of two things. One she was trying to get Tony into bed and two, truning the rest of the team against him. How many times did we hear Ziva telling Gibbs and the others that Tony was in love with her and jealous. Yet everyone overlooked the very fact that Ziva was the one always coming on to Tony, she was the one almost stalking him at work and following him into th mens room and just about every other place Tony went. Yet never once did you ever hear Gibbs taking Ziva to task for her actions but was always getting into Tony's face as if he was the one doing the stalking. Anyone that could ever believe Tony was in love with Ziva would have needed to be deaf and blind. Fact is, Tony never showed Ziva any more concern about the men she was seeing than he had Kate and Abby. The only times he had ever questioned them or looking into who they were dating was when they were a suspect or he felt something was off with the men. Because lets face facts. Kate, Abby and Ziva quite often picked to date some very questionable men and even some lowlifes.
