I have read this story several times and I just love it. I loved the way Tony had treated Gibbs. Gibbs wasn't use to anyone putting the blame on him. And he didn't like it one bit. Which I found very funny. After all, you never really see Gibbs accepting responsibility for his actions. And the same could pretty much be said about Abby, Ziva and Tim also. Maybe that's why they always seemed to be his favorites. Because they are so much alike. At least Tony aways accepted responsibility for him actiosn. And you can always tell when Gibbs refuses to listen to Tony's side or even at times Tim's side, especially when it comes to Abby or Ziva. That he must know deep down that they really aren't the ones to blame. But he's always coverd for Abby's and Ziva actions.

I have read this story before and I must say I really like Tony's new team. They are far better and above Tim and Ziva. I would also say that Tony found in his lab tech, someone that did belong in a class of their own and at a guess it was well above Abby's self claimed skills. And unlike Abby tooting her own horn and claiming to be the best in the country, Caleb, unlike Abby let his work do the talking.

...And as soon as Gibbs mentioned that their was a mximum age for field agenta, I knew he was going to Spain with Tony. I knew it, I just KNEW IT!:):):):)
Great ending! I'm kinda surprised the epilogue wasn't from Tony's POV, though, since the story started in his POV.

I've been reading this story for a while now, but just *had* to comment on this chapter. I think you wrote Tim perfectly. I could see the Tim from around this time in the series acting exactly as he did in this chapter. The only bad thing about this story is waiting for the next chapters!! Thanks so much for writing this. I love all your stories.

Aah, you surprised me - so happy! Gibbs following Tony and "moving forward" made so much sense as this played out. It's hard to image him not at NCIS in current cannon, but impossible to imagine him not being with Tony after the events of this story.
I loved how steady and confident Tony was in what would be right for him as this story wound down. It was clear he would find a way to make it work with Gibbs and wasn't overly stressed by the challenges to come.
Perfect solution! It seemed very freeing for Gibbs to leave his old oppressive self behind. Just Great! So happy for them! Very enjoyable read!

So much good ground work laid out here! I missed the individual interactions between Tony/Gibbs, Tony/Miri, etc, but it was nice to have everyone's thoughts going into the meeting laid out.
Love it when the team is supportive and looking out for each other. Look forward to seeing how they solve the Sheppard dilemma. More important, or course, is how Tony and Gibbs keep the relationship going with Tony and his team staying in tact!!

Love that Tony is so consistently pushing Gibbs to include the whole team and voicing his confidence in Tim. The trust that Gibbs and Tony share is nice to see, even though each is unsure the other still shares that loyalty.
Still love all the interactions you're developing between the old team and Tony's new team. Great chapter!

Still think this is great! So glad that Gibbs can warn Tony about Shepherd's Jeanne plan. Hope Tony can see the wisdom in Gibbs' POV and just stay clear. Everything seems so much better in Tony's world now that he's getting what he needs from Gibbs.

This was just beautiful - very satisfying. I truly enjoyed Tony cataloging everything and remembering it rather than having the play-by-play of the evening. It seemed more meaningful, sensual, and passionate since the words didn't have to relay all the frantic intensity and then the languid exploration. His feelings came through clearly. (Sorry I couldn't write that so it made sense), but you did a great job!

Almost missed this update since so much was posted by others, it didn't show up on the title pages' "recent update list. :( " I will pay better attention in the future!

Love seeing Tony and Gibbs just hanging out, relaxing, and enjoying each other! Just a nice happy, low angst bit is refreshing! I'll probably go back and read it from the beginning soon.

I love "this" Tony and Miri (of course) more and more with each update. Still enjoying how Tony is responding to the old team and allowing wounds to heal. Also, I appreciate the lightness Miri brings to the interactions (along with her support of Tony!). Thought "You're an idiot" directed to Gibbs was perfect!
Please keep the updates coming! Curious as to how to get the boys together. I really don't want Tony back on Team Gibbs....

Great chapter! Appreciated that Tony was able to present his perspective while still being able to hear how Tim and Ziva felt about him. Thought it showed alot of maturity on Tony's part, which has been evident throughout this story.
Missed Gibbs and Miri in this chapter, but felt by focusing on Tim and Tony, you gave their issues the weight they probably deserve.
Can't wait for more! Really enjoying it!

Love every aspect of this story! I like that your Tony is grown-up, somewhat vulnerable, and yet still has a sense of fun. I also love that you have surrounded him by a respectful and supportive team - Miri just makes me smile everytime we see her.

What a lovely ending!! It was so nice to see Gibbs bend this time and move to be with Tony as opposed to the opposite way round.
