CHAPTER 7:

"How dare you?" Abby said making a fly for Ziva
"Abby I did it for your own good!" Ziva said trying to defend herself with one arm
"You let me believe that I was losing him, to YOU?" Abby said anger and sadness apparent in her face
"And what makes you think he would not want me? He did pick me for the case after all" Ziva said showing off a little
"NEVER!" Abby said slapping Ziva across the face and Ziva responding back with the same motion.
"Abby!" McGee said waking up to find two women fighting over him, if only Tony could see him now.

Tony on the other hand was in MTAC trying to find a way to track a killer that had been one step ahead of them the whole time.

They had been in the room and after answering the door they let him in, trying to be as calm as possible until Tony had tried to call out to Ziva and the killer had heard something, trying to distract him, McGee asked him a series of questions about the conference they had had that morning only to find him with a knife to Ziva's throat.

"I know who you are, and I know why you are here" The tall man said

"Boss we have a situation!" Tony shouted even though he was sitting only a few feet from him

It took only a few seconds, Ziva had removed the knife from her throat and manoeuvred her self into a position behind his back but not before he grabbed another knife from his pocket and threw it in McGee's direction, sinking into his chest as he dropped to the floor.

"Tim!" Ziva shouted as she ran towards him taking out her cell and dialing 911

"What the?" Tony said shocked watching this all unfold
"We need an emergency team, we have an agent down!" Gibbs said rushing towards the door

The killer had gone, Ziva had been to wrapped up in helping McGee she forgot all about the killer which later could cost her the case.
