Chapter 1... Agent Down


He has not said anything. Sometimes it takes some time. He has just been told that he's dead.
Two doctors were talking. Gibbs is sitting down and keeps thinking about what had happened.

‘Dinozzo'
‘Yes boss'
‘I want that done thirty minutes ago'
‘Come on, it's hot'
‘It did not stop Cate or McGee.'
‘Yeah Tony' Cate said.
‘McGee'
‘Yes boss' He said.
‘Go give this to Abby'
‘Okay boss'

McGee walks into Abby's lab, her music up as loud as it can go.
‘Abby!' McGee yelled and turned down her music.
‘Hey Timmy, got my Caf-Pow!?'
‘Umm… no, but Gibbs wants you to…'
Abby stops him. ‘Come back when you've got it'
‘Abby, but…'
‘No buts McGee'
She kicked him out.

‘McGee!' Gibbs yelled two minutes later.
‘Well, she kicked me out'
‘Why's that McGee?'
‘Cause I didn't have her Caf-Pow!'
‘You are joking'
‘No boss, she said…'
‘McGee!' Gibbs yelled. He did not know what to do. It's Abby. He could not win. ‘Okay, McGee, get a Caf-Pow!'
Just then the phone rang.
Two minutes later. ‘Come on, Dinozzo, McGee, Cate'
‘Ummm boss?' McGee said nervously. ‘What about Abby and her Caf-Pow!?'
‘We will have to be killed when we get back'

‘Jethro?' Ducky had just walked in and Gibbs stopped reliving that day and looked up.
‘Oh I'm so sorry about…'
Gibbs stopped him.
‘We don't know if it's him, Jethro'
‘They have done the autopsy and have dental records. If they know, why do I have to identify?'
‘Because you do!' Ducky yelled. ‘Sorry Jethro. It's just that … why are you upset? It's not him. If you want I could go with you or do it?'
‘No' Gibbs said almost laughing. ‘I want to be the first to say I told you so. You know what I could go for Ducky? Some coffee. Could you get me some?'
‘Okay' He left.
Gibbs did not want it but could not stand here with Ducky talking about him as if he's dead.



‘So boss, what are we dealing with?'
‘Someone said they heard gun shots and someone leaving the building five minutes later'
'Umm boss, I don't think anyone's been here for like fifty years. I think we are being set up' Dinozzo said.
‘Come here, I will tell you a secret'
Dinozzo went closer and Gibbs hit him on the back of the head.
‘Come on. Cate, go with Dinozzo. McGee, come with me. Cate, Dinozzo, top floor'



‘I don't think there's anything here Cate and I need food'
‘You just ate like twenty minutes ago. Oh poor you' Cate said sarcastically. ‘Hey Tony, come look in this room'
‘Okay'
‘Hey, look a note' Said Cate.
‘Oh come on Kate, you just had to say you like me. No need for a note'
Kate looked at him.
‘Sorry, sorry. Don't hurt me'

Note: To NCIS,
I would be watching your back. You don't know who's out there and tell Gibbs an old friend says hey.

‘What is it Dinozzo?'
He had just read it and given it to Cate.
‘That's not good' Said Tony.
‘You got something right, Tony. Umm let's find Gibbs'
‘Good idea'
‘Did you find anything, Kate, Dinozzo?' Gibbs asked.
‘Yes' Cate give him the note.

Back in the car.
‘What about the body?' McGee asked.
‘Come on we were set up. Come on now!' He yelled.

Back at NCIS.

‘McGee, go give this to Abby' He handed him a Caf-Pow!
McGee walked in to Abby's Lab. She looked at him then saw the Caf-Pow! and ran to him.
McGee yelled ‘Help!' thinking she was going to hurt him but she gave him a hug.
‘I should have killed you, cause you took so long' Abby said ‘What?'
He told her about the note.
‘That could mean you as well'
‘It's just a sick joke Abby'
‘Come on McGee, it says Gibbs name on it. They know us. How many killers have we put in jail? Just their family'
‘Abby' McGee went to say. ‘ Relax, its nothing'

Gibbs was talking to Ducky. He showed him the note. ‘What do you think?'
‘I don't know. Jethro, are you okay?'
‘It's the others I'm thinking about. I'm off Duck, got to give this note to Abby'

Two hours later Gibbs texted Ducky.
It said Please Ducky don't come up and call Abby and tell her the same. It's dangerous
Ducky called Abby.
‘Hey Ducky, I need something to...'
‘Abby!' He yelled. ‘Please don't go up'
‘Why?'
‘I don't know but it is dangerous'
‘Tim, Tony and Cate are there?'
‘Yes but don't go'
‘Ducky! No, I'm going. They could be in trouble'
‘Abby'
She hung up.
‘Abby!' Ducky yelled.

She ran up there. She could hear gunshots. Cate was behind her desk. McGee and Gibbs were taking fire. Someone just missed McGee. She yelled ‘McGee!'
The shooter turned to Abby.
‘No!' McGee and Tony said at the same time and ran to Abby.


Gibbs got up when Ducky came back. ‘I'm going to see now'
‘Are you sure you don't want me to come?'
‘No I need to do this'
He walked into the room and pulled back the covers….
