This is my first NCIS fanfiction. The first three chapters are unbeta'd, so punctuation may be off. I believe the characterizations are true to the show, though. Also, I originally posted this in another venue, before the first two episodes of the third season aired. Of course I was thrilled that some parts of my story reflected what was later to be shown on the air.
